A lot of you guys out there follow a fair amount of Instagram users and might be wondering to unfollow each account you follow at once. Luckily there are many third-party apps are available that help you to automate this process so you don’t have to do it manually. Here, I made a list of the best third-party apps that you can use to unfollow everyone on Instagram at once for free.
You may encounter an “Atypical Login Attempt” error when you first try to log in on the apps listed below in this article. To remove this error, simply log in to your Instagram account through the official Instagram app and tap “This Was Me” or enter the security code sent to your phone or email. That should take care of this problem.
1. How to Unfollow Everyone On Instagram: Android
Unfollow for Instagram is a free Android app that helps you unfollow multiple Instagram accounts simultaneously with a single tap. This app gives you two options to unfollow; first who follows you back and the second is who don’t. This makes it easy to filter out users you know so you don’t have to screw up your eyes to look at their tiny display picture.
To unfollow the accounts from your following list, open the unfollow app and log in using your Instagram username and password. It works on Instagram’s official API which allows the unfollow app to remotely gain access to your follower list.
After you successfully logged in, tap the red button next to every account to unfollow or tap on the unfollow all button to simply unfollow everyone at once. The unfollow app is free and does not have any limits on unfollowing accounts, it had ads though, but that won’t be a problem because you can just start the process of unfollowing and minimize the app and it would continue unfollowing accounts in the background.
If the above app goes down in the future there are alternate apps available that help you out. You can install the Insta Mass Unfollow and Cleaner for Instagram, which basically works the same way except for a few limitations.
For example, Cleaner for Instagram lets you unfollow 50 users at once in the free version, and Insta Mass Unfollow lets you unfollow only the top 20 users at once in the free version.
2. How to Unfollow Everyone On Instagram: iOS
Mass Unfollow for Instagram is a free iOS app that lets you unfollow users from your iPhone and iPad. You just need to log in with your Instagram user credentials, go to the “Following” tab from the bottom, select all the users, and tap the “Unfollow” button under action. The only limitation of this app, you can unfollow only 100 users at once with the free version, but you can remove this limit for $1.99.
If this app stops working in the future the alternative for this is Cleaner for IG. It only lets you unfollow only 50 users at once with the free version, but you can upgrade it for $2.99.
3 How to Unfollow Everyone On Instagram: Desktop
Unlike the previous apps we discussed above which require access to your account to unfollow users and pages simultaneously, this Chrome extension can be a decent alternative. The best thing about this extension is that you don’t have to share your account details and password with the app and it can run in the background on your web browser.
Use this link to install Auto Follower Chrome extension on your Chrome web browser. Go to the Instagram website and browse your Profile and click “Following”. You will see the list of users you have followed. Now click on Auto Follower Chrome Extension from the top and enter the appropriate values. Now “Click Unfollow” to begin.
If you don’t want to be flagged by Instagram’s algorithm, keep the number of clicks at around 15 per interval, and set the interval between 30-60 seconds. These values ensure you can safely unfollow every user and page without getting your account blocked.
